Membrane-type Thinprep Processor
1. Principle:
It is a thinprep cell processor controlled by computer, can identify the reagents. The thinprep processor adopts the technology of liquid-based thinprep cell membrane filtering and make the standard cell smear. First, its rotation structure drives the filter cylinder, mix the cell specimen tenderly and evenly, handle the impurities, blood corpuscle and slime; finally form a super thin, even cell smear with a good shape.
2. Main parameter
1). Mixing speed: 1000~2200 r/min;
2). Distribution diameter: 20mm
3). filter cylinder specification: 5μm or 8μm
4). Working hours can be continuted: more than 8h ;
5). Noise: less than 60dB;
6). Processing time:about 2 minutes;
7). Voltage:AC220V±10% 50Hz±1Hz;
8). Power: <150W;
9). Environmental temperature: +4℃~+38℃;
10).Weight: 28kg;
11).Size:450mm×350mm×600mm。
3. Features
1)、The thinprep processor is controlled by the computer, English display, touch panel, run automatically, stable and safe, offer easy operation.
2)、The specimen can be tested directly, no need for pre-handle, no need for transferring the cells many times.
3)、The function of membrane cylinder and the slide matching automatically.
4)、The function of automatically withdrawing the membrane cylinder can avoid the infection and ensure the staff health effectively.
5)、The function of automatic seal can effectively reduce the failure rate and improve the efficiency.
6)、Every time before start, the membrane-type thinprep processor can finish the trial running automatically.
4. Smear Flow
1). Specimen collection: use special cervix brush to sample. Insert the central bristle part of the cervix brush into the cervix gently, and press it forward tenderly and rotate it in a same direction for 5 circles. Back and forth rotation is prohibited. The sampling range refers to the whole transformation zone.
2). Specimen preservation: 100% cells in the specimen can be kept in the preservation revolution.
3). Cell dispersing: The specimen rotates around the base, the liquid produced separates the slime and impurities, at the same time, then mix the specimen to make the cell distributed evenly.
4). Cells collection: Form a tender vacuum in the membrane cylinder, and collect the cell to the surface of the filter membrane.
5). The cells transfer: Mechanism arm presses the membrane cylinder onto the slide gently. Transfer the cells on the membrane cylinder to the slide through the positive pressure and absorbability.
6). Staining: use 95% ethanol to fix the specimen for 15 minutes, use Pap stain, HE or Wright’s staining to stain.
7). Microscopic examination: Pathology reads the slide through the microscopy, collect the cell image.
